Beachwalk Villas/Shipyard Plantation/Hilton Head Island

Beachwalk Villas, located in Shipyard Plantation, have the shortest walk to the beach of any condo complexes in Shipyard. Shipyard Plantation is located oceanfront between Leamington to the North and North Forest Beach to the South. It comprises over 800 acres and is both resort and residential, with over 2,000 single family homes, condos and villas. Many of the condos within the plantation are used as rental properties and are enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year, especially during peak season when families are vacationing on the island.

Beachwalk offers one, two, and three-bedroom villas. These villas are different from other complexes in that they offer fireplaces, extra large decks, eat-in kitchens and window space, making them brighter and more airy. Shipyard has three 9-hole championship golf courses with 25 water hazards throughout the majority of holes.  Each of these courses, Clipper, Galleon and Brigantine, offer lagoons and ponds to negotiate as well as four tee positions to accommodate all levels of play.  Two of the three inter-connecting courses are combined for an 18-hole round.  Golfers meander through water hazards, alligators, large oaks, tall pines to sculptured greens and well-placed bunkers. The Brigantine course was designed by Willard C. Byrd and built in 1982, while the Clipper and Galleon were designed by George W. Cobb and built in 1970.

For those with tennis on their mind while vacationing, the elite Van Der Meer Tennis Academy offers world class clinics. Tennis Magazine ranked Shipyard as one of The Five Greatest US Tennis Resorts. Nestled among the oaks are 23 championship courts, providing ample game for anyone who wishes to play day or night.
