SEA PINES
Synonymous with Hilton Head Island, and the first eco-planned resort in the world, the Sea Pines Resort is the largest planned community on the Island. Sea Pines consists of approximately 5,000 acres of lush semitropical topography, 1,300 acres of which will never be developed. There are more than 500 seaside condominiums, luxury family villas, sprawling plantation-style homes and beach houses either used privately, available for rental or for sale. The heart of Sea Pines is Harbour Town, the picturesque lighthouse and yacht basin, home to million dollar luxury yachts and fishing boats. There is direct access to five miles of pristine beach, riding stables, 40+ miles of bike and leisure trails, major shopping centers, an array of restaurants and 54 holes of championship golf within the resort, including the world famous Harbour Town Golf Links, home of the MCI Heritage of Golf.

FOLLY FIELD
Folly Field is one of Hilton Head Island’s original oceanfront residential communities. This quiet, uncomplicated neighborhood has been second-home to families for decades. With today’s fast-paced life, Folly Field is a throw-back in time. Olin McIntosh of the Hilton Head Company built the island's first beach cottages at Folly Field beach in 1953 to generate more ferry traffic from the mainland. Folly Field’s wide and pristine beach is still a favorite for islanders. In addition to its beautiful beach, Folly Foeld also enjoys a prime mid-island location.

WEXFORD & LONG COVE
Located at the southern end of the Island. Both communities are known for their magnificent homes and superior amenities. Long Cove is noted for its exquisite golf course designed by Pete Dye. Wexford also features an 18-hole private golf course along with tennis, croquet, and gourmet dining. Both communities front Broad Creek and have exclusive private boating facilities and beautiful waterfront properties. Wexford also lies adjacent to the Hilton Head Island Town Hall complex.

SHIPYARD
Centrally located, Shipyard Plantation is an 800-acre gated community with private sub-communities of single-family homes, villas, and condominiums. Beautifully landscaped grounds envelope its fresh water lagoon system, which is home to numerous turtles and alligators. Villas are the major rental unit is Shipyard and include Beachwalk, The Greens, Evian, Tennis Master and Colonnade. These popular properties are available year-round and offer a myriad of amenities. There are three nine-hole golf courses, all well-bunkered with large undulating greens, which are reached after avoiding the many lagoons and ponds that accent its tree-lined fairways. Tennis, however, rules in Shipyard Plantation, and the tennis complex, now known as the Van der Meer Shipyard Resort, was designed by Billie Jean King. Bicycling is very popular in Shipyard and there are more than 12 miles of leisure trails within the plantation.

FOREST BEACH
Immediately North of Sea Pines, an original and popular “off plantation” beach community on Hilton Head, is Forest Beach, the area spanning between Sea Pines and Shipyard. Forest Beach is divided by Coligny Plaza, Hilton Head’s eating and shopping mecca. On either side of Coligny is North Forest Beach and South Forest Beach. North Forest Beach is primarily single-family homes, though it does contain a number of villas. South Forest Beach has Hilton Head’s largest concentration of ocean-oriented properties. Hotel, motel and luxury villa accommodations are available year-round. Both North and South Forest Beach have hard sand, wonderful for bicycling, running, sunning, swimming and playing. Because the tide change runs to seven feet, the beach is very wide and open.

PALMETTO DUNES & SHELTER COVE
Palmetto Dunes, the second largest gated plantation on Hilton Head Island, is an 1,800 acre plantation located mid-island and offers three miles of direct Atlantic Ocean access, three championship golf courses, a 25-court tennis center, 28 swimming pools, an 11-mile lagoon system for canoeing and paddle boating and miles of winding, paved leisure trails. Property ownership consists of large, beautiful and private oceanfront single family homes and much-sought after luxury villas and condominiums. These properties are direct oceanfront, have private beach access and a host of amenities, including large heated swimming pools, Jacuzzis, shaded pavilions and much more.

INDIGO RUN
Located directly across from Hilton Head Plantation, Indigo Run is one of the newest developments on the Island. It features beautiful golf courses, lagoons and marshes. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the Jack Nicklaus designed courses and their clubhouses. Indigo Run is also home to many other amenities for young and old.
