Indigo Run is located on the north end of Hilton Head Island, conveniently located to island schools, the airport, the hospital, upscale shopping and shopping. It is the newest private, gated residential community on the island consisting of primary and second homes with a myriad of recreational facilities. Only two miles from the beaches, Indigo Run’s nearly 1,800 acres were developed to accommodate 1,002 residences. Nearly all home sites have either woodland orientations, fairway, lagoon or views of Broad Creek. The Golden Bear Golf Club, a private Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus-designed golf facility, is a private club with an 18-hole championship course. Sunningdale Park boasts an Olympic-sized swimming pool, six clay tennis courts and several other communities within the plantation, each with their own private pool complexes. Miles of paved leisure paths tie all sections of Indigo Run together.
