Music and Taste on the Harbour Kick-off

Posted by Bill True on Monday, March 24th, 2014 at 6:41pm.

If you’ve never visited Shelter Cove Harbour you’re in for an experience you’re sure to enjoy. It’s here where you’ll find beautiful views of Broad Creek, year round dining, plenty of exquisite shopping and live concerts every Thursday night through May 22. Come check out the towering 12-foot bronze statue of King Neptune that is  the world’s largest figurative sundial. This statue of Neptune was originally cast at a foundry in Princeton, New Jersey and moved to Hilton Head Island in 1983 where it’s proudly stood ever since.

The popular Hilton Head Island Music & Taste on the Harbour will be held on March 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. Dance the night away to The Headliners and enjoy food and drink specials from all five Shelter Cove Harbour restaurants! This free event will take place at Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina, located across from Palmetto Dunes off Hwy. 278. The band and restaurant tents will be setup around the Neptune statue weather permitting. Seating will be limited so bring your own chairs. Call (843) 785-6424 if you have questions.

On Thursday nights the Music on the Harbour concert series will feature the following performances from 6-9 p.m. at Shelter Cove Harbour. Be sure to mark your calendars now to come out and enjoy the live music, great food, unique shopping opportunities and some gorgeous sunsets!
