Shipyard Plantation foreclosures represent a small fraction of the homes and villas for sale; however, there are some real treasures if you work with an experienced and knowledgeable real estate agent. Condos and villas comprise nearly half of the residential development within the 800-acre Shipyard Plantation—they are the major vacation rental properties, although there are a number of primary owners (couples/retirees) within the complexes. These villa complexes have distinct designs and amenities, including swimming pools and tennis courts. Many have superb views of the golf course and/or water views and all are within a short walking distance or bike ride to the beach.
The beach at Shipyard is private and lovely, though amenities of the plantation are varied and numerous, such as golfing at the Shipyard Golf Club, the Van der Meer Shipyard Tennis resort and miles of shaded leisure paths. Contact me regarding Shipyard Plantation foreclosures at BillTrue.com.

Shipyard Plantation Foreclosures have been relative active in the past few months, with condos and villas garnering the majority of closings. I have participated in several foreclosure closings recently whereby my clients were seeking property for vacation investment. They ultimately chose Shipyard Plantation because of its desirable south-island location, its privacy and its beauty. A walk to the beach from their property was certainly a boon in their decision as well. Shipyard is only 800 acres, small for Hilton Head Island plantations. Shipyard is rather secluded, is lushly landscaped and reasonably slow-paced.
Condos and villas comprise the majority of vacation properties in Shipyard, and they generally produce healthy short-term rental returns. Shipyard Plantation is close to Sea Pines Resort, Coligny Plaza, Palmetto Dunes Resort and a myriad of fine restaurants, marinas and shopping venues. Shipyard Plantation foreclosures are worth looking into if you are thinking of purchasing property on Hilton Head Island. Contact me at BillTrue.com—I will be happy to speak with you.
