Hilton Head ocean front real estate

Hilton Head Real Estate Search

Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island is synonymous with breathtaking beaches, golf, gourmet restaurants, boutiques, luxury accommodations, tennis, yachting and leisure activities. Real estate in Sea Pines is world-class and consists of distinct neighborhoods within the plantation—oceanfront, deepwater, creek, marsh, golf and wooded. This oceanfront retreat offers newly constructed large and exquisite estate homes to picturesque and handsome beach bungalows built when the Island was barely on the map, to residential neighborhoods, to villas and condos—full-time, part-time and rental opportunities exist. Foreclosure and short sale properties are still available as well as smart purchase prospects. Sea Pines has so much to offer—5,000 acres (a third of the Island!), the beach, Harbour Town, Lawton Stables, three championship golf courses, Sea Pines Racquet Club, leisure trails that wind for miles and miles through the Forest Preserve, South Beach Marina, gardens, playgrounds and so much more! Contact me for more information and let me introduce you to something great on Hilton Head Island—Sea Pines Resort.

Today the first round of the 42nd Verizon Heritage Golf Tournament will be played at Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines Resort on beautiful Hilton Head Island. The weather has been perfect with temperatures in the 70s, sunshine and a slight breeze. The Island is all about golf and real estate this week.  Rental homes and villas have been booked for months in advance, while prospective buyers are eager to fit previewing and golf into their schedule. It is an exciting time and I look forward to this week each year.
Many of my clients who own investment properties are here during this time and drop by just to say hello. They are pleasantly surprised when they enter the Lancaster Real Estate Sales office and discover the changes we’ve made in both additional square footage and new sales agents. Our expansion has occurred just as other companies are downsizing—we firmly believe that the economy will take a strong upswing in the next few months. In looking at the numbers, it is already happening. Sales are on the rise, the numbers are up. As an investor, this is the time to purchase. Oceanfront properties are selling at 2001 prices. The numbers work. These properties, when put with the right rental company, generate income that far outpace other market sectors.
While many of the properties for sale, both homes and villas, in Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes and Forest Beach are priced to sell, it takes an astute eye and a keen ability to understand and appreciate a good investment—just because it is a good price doesn’t mean it is a good investment. I have been selling—and investing in—Hilton Head properties for over 25 years.  I can guide you to—and away from—certain properties based not only on your expectations but the performance of comparable properties and market trends.  Whether you are looking to invest, purchase for primary use or use as a second home, there is a property just for you—and I can help you find it. Call me and let’s find your piece of paradise on Hilton Head Island.

Hilton Head Island’s Sea Pines Resort is known world-over for its celebrated amenities (white sand beaches, renowned golf and tennis, distinguished dining and grand shopping), family-oriented activities (Gregg Russell singing under the Big Oak, charter boat fishing, sailing, hiking through the Forest Preserve, biking along miles of safe leisure trails, Harbour Town playground, South Beach playground and horseback riding at Lawton Stables equestrian center) and remarkable real estate. Yes, remarkable
Sea Pines Resort skims the Atlantic Ocean around the “toe” of Hilton Head; consequently, there are astonishing oceanfront homes and villas, extraordinary homes on Calibogue Cay which have sound and/or remarkable creek frontage with deep water docks, villas overlooking the famous Harbour Town Yacht Basin, marshfront properties, homes overlooking some of the most incredible golf courses in the world and quiet, lovely wooded areas. Sea Pines Resort is a secure, gated community of over 5,000 acres and is Hilton Head’s premier resort. With over 3,800 homes and 2,000 villas, it would be easy to call Sea Pines home.

Get your plaid on and enjoy South Carolina’s only PGA Tour—the Verizon Heritage. Hosted in the famed Sea Pines Resort on the Harbour Town Golf Links, ‘The Heritage’, as locals refer to it, has come a long way since that first Thanksgiving weekend in 1969. Hilton Head Island was rather remote back then, but the best in the game, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus (Nicklaus helped design the course) were contenders, with Palmer being the champion. Back then, the purse was $100,000. The purse last April was a hefty $5.5 million!
Times have changed. Hilton Head Island and the Verizon Heritage have grown and established themselves at the top of their games. Media exposure has propelled both Hilton Head Island and the Verizon Heritage—over 135,000 fans descend on the island to enjoy the golf, walk the white sand beaches, partake in all the amenities and dine at some of the finest restaurants in the world. Translated economically, the Verizon Heritage generates approximately $84 million in sales for the state of South Carolina.
Hilton Head Island and Lancaster Real Estate Sales/BillTrue.com welcomes you and the Verizon Heritage to the 2010 tournament.

A true jewel of Sea Pines Resort is Lawton Stables. Located just off Greenwood Drive and across from the Sea Pines Forest Preserve and Heritage Gardens, it is a full service equestrian center whose amazing history begins over a hundred years ago when, in January 1867, two New York school teachers arrived on the Island at Lawton Plantation (now Sea Pines Plantation). At that time, there was a main house and 50 cabins for freed slaves. These teachers taught the freed slaves various skills to lead independent and productive lives.  Lawton Stables as it was aptly named was positioned, of all placed, in what was today known as Harbour Town.  In 1969 the stables moved to its current location, making way for the world-famous candy-striped lighthouse, yacht basin and Harbour Town Golf Links.
A complete renovation program began in 2008, whereby two arenas were constructed and built with championship footing. The paddocks and grounds were irrigated and the animal farm was rebuilt and relocated as well. Harley, one of the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales makes his home at the stables.   A new welcome center and hay bar have been built and a beautiful boarding barn has just been completed. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on March 29th from 5 to 7 p.m. in celebration.
Trail rides, which depart several times a day, meander through the 606-acre preserve. Lawton Stables specializes in horse boarding, training, and English and Western riding lessons. For the little ones, or just the young at heart, there is also a small animal farm.
