Hilton Head ocean front real estate

Hilton Head Real Estate Blog

Ponder this thought:  Hilton Head is a world-renowned, semi-tropical resort island.   Once you cross over the IntraCoastal Waterway, you are surrounded only by the Atlantic Ocean.  There will be no annexation of parcels to make the island bigger; for there is no adjacent, contiguous, bordering or neighboring land…we are what we are:  an Island.  Our uniqueness is our primary sales pitch.  “Sprawl” is not in our vocabulary.

Build-out on this small island is in our immediate future, and inventory will continue to shrink, which will continually drive up prices.  Stay with me here… The astute purchaser knows that today’s pricing and interest rates are short-term offerings and that properties with prime locations and proper valuations never remain on the market for long, no matter if the market is soft or booming.

We ask that question all the time, whether it is relative to the day’s most mundane tasks or life’s most memorable events.  Well, if you are considering purchasing Hilton Head Island real estate, the answer is a resounding “Yes.”  Now IS a good time.  It is probably one of the best purchasing cycles we will see in our lifetime.  I do not read palms and I do not have a looking glass, but I intently follow real estate sales data on Hilton Head Island, and it is evident that this interval of relaxed real estate prices is just that:  an interval.  The wise investor knows to look to the future—and learn from the past mistakes (and successes).  These phases, however extreme and far-reaching are simply part of the business cycle and they will pass.  While nearly every investor has been dramatically impacted, it stands to be noted that this real estate market will not only survive but thrive in the months and years to come.
