Forest Beach is an ungated community in the heart of Hilton Head Island and is designated as North Forest Beach or South Forest Beach. Forest Beach is home to the island’s hub of world-famous shops, bakers, confectioners, breakfast eateries and other dining destinations and entertainment known as Coligny Plaza.
North Forest Beach Drive and South Forest Beach Drive run parallel to the white sands of the Atlantic Ocean with residential streets branching off to either side. Forest Beach is one of Hilton Head Island’s original neighborhoods with many beach bungalows still in existence, alongside luxury oceanfront homes. In fact, some the Island’s most spectacular oceanfront homes, ocean-oriented homes, and oceanfront villas/condos are for sale in North and South Forest Beach. As well, there have recently been short sales and foreclosures. There are wonderful purchase opportunities in this area of the island, especially if you are interested in high-income-producing homes.
